I read in the Independent recently that there is a new Yorkshire building society fixed rate mortgage available that apparently has a great rate. But I don’t understand all of the details behind it. How long is it fixed year. I thought it was 5 years but then when I looked online I couldn’t seem to find any special 5 year deals. Has anyone seen this piece? Or knows the special that I am on about? I want to get the facts before I go in branch and my wife thinks I made it up lol somebody help me out here. |

Well I saw one back in December that was a 3 year fixed mortgage but it was a special deal as you got £500 cash back plus free survey and legal work. However this is only for first time buyers. So if you already have a property etc then you wont be eligible unfortunately. |
