Is it better to stay on the variable rate mortgage Abbey offers?

Persson Persson Topic creator Posts: 4	I have a fixed rate mortgage that is due to expire soon and I was wondering whether people thought that in this climate I am better of just sticking with the variable rate mortgage Abbey has proposed at 4.24% currently or to shop around. Any ideas?

Nanda Nanda Posts: 2	Well I would say that there are better variable rate mortgages but it depends what is going to cost you to change over. Plus the hassle and the fact that the rate fluctuates, you can never be sure you are getting the best deal.
