I am looking in to the various possibilities that are open to me as I am about to renew my mortgage soon and want some help on the details of each type so that I how to go about carrying on. At this moment is a Britannia fixed rate mortgage better than a tracker. I am a little vague on the difference between the two but after what I have read on here it seems to be the conclusion of most people.

What do you mean there are loads of fixed rate mortgages to be had at the moment but it just depends on how much you are looking to borrow.

Fixed rate mortgages are the best way to go if you can get one, it allows you to secure that offer for a set amount of time and with the rates being this low you cannot be in a better situation than now.
