I currently have a 2 year fixed rate mortgge, but I am a little annoyed about the rates being so low at the moment is there any way that I will be able to revert back to the HSBC standard variable rate? My renewal date is in September but I would like to be able to do so beforehand. Is this possible? What can I do to get out of mine? Will I get charged a ridiculous amount? |

You can get out of your fixed rate mortgage but it will cost you, just like everything in this world |

You expect to get out of your deal because the rates are low, bet they would let people get in to to a fixed rate mortgage if the rates went up so why should they let you cus the rates went down. You signed a contract now stick with it. |
