Are adverse remortgage offers the same as poor credit loans?

I had a poor credit loan in the past and the terms made a mockery of my bank balance. Would an adverse remortgage do the same damage?

Make sure you check the small print... Anyone can be landed with a bad loan or get lucky with a good loan if they don't do their research. Make sure you know exactly what terms you're looking for, what is realistic in the current market (check online) and exactly how much you can afford in terms of repayments. It's probably worth getting a second opinion too. You may be able to get one for free at your bank, or try the Citizens Advice Bureau. It's good and the services are usually free of charge.
