I don’t know how but I seem to be way in over my head when it comes to my finances. I received the full loan and grant but it just wasn’t enough. And I haven’t been careless, its just my accommodation is so expensive and then travel costs and going home to see my parents, it has just all added up. So I am hoping that I can get some help from Student Finance Warwick University. Has anyone ever applied for anything and received money? Or do you have to have extenuating circumstances for them to consider helping out?

Not sure how it is in Warwick University but I was going through a rough time and ended up in a lot of trouble. I applied to the Access to learning fund and they gave me a considerable amount to help me out of this mess. I know that Warwick uni also has this hardship fund. But it is not easy to get and many students usually apply for it and once their budget is used up that is it, so if you leave it too late in to the academic year then it could be that they will have exhausted their funds. Go to your student funding office and I am sure they will explain to you whether or not you are eligible.
