I am 32 years old and I will be starting University next year. I currently have an account with Barclays and have an overdraft that I pay for. When I start university will I be entitled to get and interest-free overdraft with a student bank account? Or is it different for mature students as obviously you have a different financial status?

On the Barclays website there is nothing under the student account T&Cs that stop you from being eligible for a student account. All they ask for is proof of full time higher education and uk residency and that they are your main current account, so this should be fine in your situation.
