I am sure that my mother bought me and my sisters each bonds when we were younger, but obviously we were never given the details as we were too young. She unfortunately passed away a few years ago and talking about bond the other day made me realize that perhaps there are some bonds out there in our names that we have not been able to claim on. Is there some kind of Premium bond trace service that can track down our numbers for us?

If you contact NSI directly I am sure they have a service that can help you track down your numbers. But you will need to have certain details before they can trace them, but it will be general things such as names, addresses etc http://www.nsandi.com/help/tracing_service.jsp I am not sure however about how you can prove they are yours, even if they track down the number. How do these things work?
