Who has the best deal on life insurance? Sainsburys, Tesco, M&S... Or should you stick with the traditional insurers for a better deal?

There's nothing wrong with 'supermarket' insurance if you read the small print. Most of the high street policies are offered by other insurers anyway. M&S are from Axa Insurance, Sainsbury's from Legal & General and Tesco is provided by Direct Line. The high street just offer deals that will pull in their loyal customers, like gift vouchers etc. The best way to choose a policy is always to compare cover. Start with a comparison calculator and then pick four to assess in detail. If you can combine good cover and a fair price, take the deal.
