If your father can prove that he controls his diabetes, he may still get a good deal, even though it won't be as cheap as for a non-diabetic. Applying for diabetic life insurance will require you to confirm certain patient information such as blood sugar levels and the method of treatment. Unfortunately diabetes increases the risk of your father developing health problems, and the insurance company will want to be rewarded for offering him cover with a higher policy price. Do you know if his diabetes is controlled, and what kind of insurance he's looking for?

Veena Veena Posts: 2	Well when I found out I had diabetes I thought the same: where will I find a cheap life insurance that actually covers people with diabetes. But then I did some searches online and ended up with DiabeticLife. I think there prices are very reasonable. Plus, I know not to believe everything companies put in their marketing pitch but, they say that they do not want to charge people with diabetes ridiculous prices, so perhaps you could check them out with your dad.

Jay Jay Posts: 4	I used www.fairinvestment.co.uk to compare the difference life insurance quotes and then I contacted the best ones to see whether they covered those with diabetes. It may sound quite long-winded but I found that I got a better price out of it as I didn’t just go straight to the specialist companies. In my eyes they are specialist for a reason, not for your benefit…..
