There seems to be some dispute about running a joint account & Abbey mismanaging it... A lot of forum threads discuss issues with Abbey banking / Abbey joint accounts... But Abbey are offering a good deal with £100 cash incentive...

Try not to believe everything you read on forums (he says, writing on a forum...) Everyone forms their own opinions of banks and services, and I doubt there's a bank anywhere that has only had positive reviews. Having said that, it's more important that the joint account meets your needs than you get £100. If Abbey's joint account is exactly what you've been looking for, go for it. If not, look around for a better account with a bank that has a better customer service reputation!
