I want to know how risky the fixed deposits Tata Motors have are at the moment. Is there any risk to them going bust like other companies recently or are they relatively stable? With a minimum amount of 20000 Rupees I want to make sure that I don’t lose all my money.

I would say try and find out their credit rating. The information must be online somewhere. Perhaps read up about them in the newspapers too and try and see if they have had any financial difficulty over the past year. If that fails, you could always try contacted one of their mortgage brokers and ask them directly for information but it is unlikely they will tell you everything they know, but if they offer other companies investment schemes they may be able to offer you something more secure.
