Hi guys, has anyone read Investment Valuation? Damodaran has a pretty good reputation thanks to his NYU background, but what did you think of the book?

It's definitely got a lot of useful information if you're already versed in asset valuation. Of course, there's nothing wrong with this because I doubt anyone would buy it unless they were involved in valuation anyway. He includes a few general things that I enjoyed, not least because it sets his book apart from your basic dry textbooks. He writes, for example, about the 'bigger fool' theory of trying to find a bigger fool than you to buy an asset from you that you bought at an elevated price! This is basically, sadly, the grounds for the current financial crisis... Have you read it yourself or are you just considering the purchase?
