I want to buy a house abroad but before I do I want to gather all the information about things such as insurance etc. Is it stable enough in Spain at the moment in order for me to buy a house at a decent price and not be scammed over? I heard people had their investments taken away from them, I don’t want to be in the same situation, but as I won’t need a mortgage I hope this lowers the risk. Also what do I need to look for in Spanish home insurance? Will I have to get insurance in Spain or are there companies that deal with it here in England? I don’t speak very good Spanish and don’t want to have to pay for all the documents to be translated into English |

There are loads of companies in England that deal with holiday home insurance, maybe they are a little pricier but it saves a lot of hassle and that way if you have any questions at least you know you will be able to talk to someone. |

Are they really that much more expensive Chitrani? Do you have experience in the Spanish home insurance market? If so do you think it would be worthwhile me just hiring a translator and getting a Spanish home insurance instead of an expensive UK one? |
