I am thinking about getting contents insurance, Asda in particular, and I was wondering if anyone knew if their basic coverage covers accidental damage to home entertainment equipment? I had a problem, with my last insurer due to this so I don’t want to make the same mistake again, I own a lot of expensive electrical items and would like to be assured that they will be covered.

Yes they do. But are you sure you want to go with Asda, why them particularly? Have you had a look around to make sure that they are offereing the best deal? I would suggest that you do so. But ps if you do end up with them then make sure you apply online and not in store, you get an extra 15% off when you apply online. icon_wink.gif
