Best deals on static home insurance?

I'm looking for a static home insurance to cover our caravan. What kind of cover can I expect? Any insurer recommendations? |

You should be able to get a policy which covers fire, flood and theft – these are the basics. In addition, make sure that accidental damage is covered, and maybe vandalism too. It depends where the caravan is located, whether it's at risk of vandalism or not, but it's good to know there's financial assistance available if some berk spraypaints graffiti all over it! Again, it depends where the caravan is, but some policies include legal cover in case a disagreement goes to court, say if you argue with the site owner. If it's not on a site this is unnecessary... The one clause I'd definitely recommend is storm damage. Otherwise you'll end up with a broken window and they'll say it's not from fire or flood and refuse to pay up! |

Try a comparison website such as www.caravanquoter.co.uk, they do all the hard work for you, you will just need to check the terms and conditions. If I am not mistaken though E&I offer static home insurance too and they are well known as a great insurer so if their price is right I would recommend them. |
