I got a letter this morning from the bank saying that I am now eligible for a NatWest Gold card thanks to my years of spending lol. However I was just wondering is it really worth the money, I mean it is quite expensive for a current account. No matter how silly, I do like the idea of a Gold Card, but I know that is silly and just something they want, but still.

A card is a card in my opinion, I mean so what if it is a different colour, if you have no money on it what difference will it make?
Also very interesting:

The benefits are quite good but only if you need them, not if you just want them. I mean I took it out cus I needed insurance and many of the types that I needed (I travel a lot and multi-trip travel insurance is quite expensive not to mention other insurances) so therefore it was good for me. But I would definitely look in to it first, cus you may just end up wasting £14 a month.
