I want to stay with NatWest as I have banked with them forever, however I really want a VISA card and I am getting annoyed with these silly Maestro and Solo cards that’s aren’t accepted anywhere. Is there any account that they have that gives a NatWest Visa card? Or can I even just ask to change my card exchanged? Will they do that? |

What is wrong with the Maestro card? I think it is fine, a card is a card, I haven’t ever had any problems. I don’t see why they would just change your card just cus you want them to, I am guessing they need to actually have a VISA card to offer you beforehand. Do you know if they do. |

No I completely understand so many times I have not been able to buy things online as they only accept VISA cards so I can completely agree. I heard that the reason they don’t use it online is that Maestro charges loads for each transaction. I would just check if there is an account that had a visa card and then just ask to change your account. |

I heard that most of the banks will only be issuing visa from now on because of these charges, and NatWest is the same, apparently from last year they stopped issuing Solo, but I am not sure. Perhaps you could just say you lost your card and see if the new one you get is a Visa. |
