I will be going to Paris on a school trip and I was wondering whether I can use my NatWest debit card abroad? I know its something to do with the sign and that as long as you find that sign you can use it abroad also, but I was wondering how much will I by charged? Is it easier to change money here and then not use my card at all?

Well I am guessing you wont need that much money for a school trip, so I think it would be better to just take some money with you and then take your card in the case of emergency. You wont be charged for using your card in a shop but if you take money out then sometimes there is some kind of commission but I don’t really know how this works. But yes you can use your card in France, wherever the Visa or Maestro sign is, depending on which card you have.
