I have been banking with Barclays for years now and already have visa cards and credit cards with them. However I have realised recently how much I have been paying online for using a Visa card and not a visa electron. I travel a lot, especially with RyanAir and if you have an electron card they do not charge you ridiculous fees. And I think it’s the same with many others. So I was wondering would I be able to get a Barclays visa electron card even though I already have others with them, or are they just the starter cards?

I know that there is the cash card account that you should be able to apply for no matter what other accounts your have but I am not sure whether it is a visa electron or not. It says it is a connect card and it seems to be the same options as a Barclays visa electron card but perhaps it is different. Best thing to do would be to go in branch I guess and see what they say.
