I need some money for the next month or so to tie me over for a while, but I am not sure as to how I am supposed to go about withdrawing from my Halifax ISA direct? Should I just go in branch or do I have to actually notify them beforehand, via phone or something? Anyone had any experience with such a thing?

I think the easiest thing is to just transfer the money over in to your current account and then just withdraw it from that? I am assuming here though that you have access to your ISA online. If not then I would call them and just find out the best way to proceed. Go to www.saynoto0870.com to find out the cheaper local number for Halifax.
