I was planning to open a new NatWest step account but I had a look online and I cant seem to see anywhere that says that I can use this card online. I mean I know it is a solo card but do places not accept solo? How about Paypal? Does paypal accept accounts with Solo cards? Are there any other limitations I should be aware of before opening this account? |

You cant have a phone contract with this account. They don’t allow you to pay monthly contracts for some reason. Well that’s what I read anyway. |

How can that be I would have thought that all basic bank accounts would allow standing orders and direct debits, why would they prohibit it? It makes no sense |

Easiest way to be sure, is to just go in and ask them straight. Ask them these two questions and see what answers they give you. Then you should ask them to give you the parts of the conditions of the account that justify their response. Not being rude, but sometimes the advisors have no idea and just tell you what you want to hear in order to open the account, so it is better to be safe than sorry. |
