My bank advisor told me that they offer current and plant asset accounts, and would I be interested in opening any? I don't actually know what he was talking about... My friend tells me plant assets are only for businesses, but what kinds of current asset accounts are there?

Either you or your bank advisor are confused... An asset account for a company can include current and plant assets. Current assets would be 'cash' assets, like money in the tills, money in the bank and money owed to you. Plant assets are 'things', like the office building, equipment... And you can get different asset accounts that protect these different assets. I'm not convinced you need this, because you mentioned your friend pointed out that these are for businesses... What are you really trying to do with your money?
