I have just opened a new account and have a question about the Halifax internet banking log in. I am sure that I have done everything correctly but when I try and log in it says that this is an enquiry service only. Why is this? How do I activate the online facilities?

Have you put any money in to your account yet? This could simple mean that you are not able to do any transfers or what-not as there are no funds in the account. If not then the only other thing I can think of is whether you used the correct log in method. I am with Barclays so this could be completely different over at Halifax, but if I do not use the Pins Entry internet banking log in then I get a reduced facility service where I can just look at information and not actually do anything.
