I've never used online banking. Nat West have just offered me free internet banking with my account. What are the benefits? Do you really use it or is it just another set of passwords taking up brain space?

Online banking is great! You can manage your accounts from the comfort of your own sofa, and if you remember that you forgot to pay your credit card bill you can do it outside branch opening hours. Not to mention the fact that you can switch to online statements and save trees while reducing the amount of paperwork you need to file! Of course, if you've never used it before it might take some getting used to, or you might find it 'suspicious' or 'complicated'. I'd definitely give it a go if it's offered for free: what do you have to lose?
