I owed my friend some money for our rent but I didn’t get chance to go to her bank. She told me to just do an online transfer so that it would get there in time for the next rent payment. I have never used Yorkshire bank internet banking but she said it would go through in 3-5 days. Thing is, we still cant seem to find it in her account. It has left my account and it has been a week. What could have gone wrong? She is with a different bank but that shouldn’t make a difference right? |

Normally it does go through within 3-4 days. I would think something has gone wrong unfortunately, have you gone in branch and asked them where the money is? |
| Also very interesting: | |

I would think that maybe you made a mistake when entering the details, if so don’t panic you cant get the money back. |

How? How can she get the money back? Do they let you do that? Cus couldn’t you say that about anything, like you needed to pay rent but then your friend pissed you off and you moved out so you say you made a mistake and want your money back. I doubt they can just transfer it back from wherever it went that easily. |

No but if it was just a mistake with one or two numbers then she will be able to explain “look this is where it should have gone” blah blah blah, and if the other person spent some of it they will have to pay it back! |
