How long for NatWest Ealing to process a cheque?

I am about to give my daughter a cheque to put in her account as she seems to be a bit behind with the rent. The thing is, is that the rent gets taken out of her account soon so I don’t want it to take too long for the money to clear. The nearest branch to her is the NatWest Ealing (The Mall) does anyone know how long they normally take to process cheques (also from NatWest)? |

I doubt it matters which branch it is, their policies are applied nationwide so whatever NatWest Ealing does, NatWest Wolverhampton will do the same in theory. But I would say if you are worried about getting the money to her on time then just go in to your local branch and put the cash directly in to her account. That way she will have it within minutes and all you need to do is get her account number and sort code in order to put the money in for her. |
