Has anyone thought to combine the good aspects of UK online banking & OBC online banking features like paying taxes? I wonder why you don't have these things in the UK?

Every bank and building society decides which features and services to offer their customers. In the UK most banks offer the same things, because these are the services that people want / need. I do understand that OBC offers some good services though, which would make life easier here too... My personal favourite was making payments to merchants! All listed on one page, all websites collected, all personal banking done in one evening! It may be worth making a formal suggestion via email to your current bank, although, as I say, they may not offer these services for a reason.
