Can you use paypal to pay for anything online to replace using credit/debit cards? I have tried looking for the sign on certain sites and cannot seem to find it, but I don’t want to use my cards, I don’t really like the idea of giving all my details over the internet.

Times have changed, you no longer have to be as hesitant as before on using your cards online. It’s probably a lot safer to pay online by card than it is to even use a card in a restaurant. Plus you know that whatever you purchase online is covered by insurance and so if anything goes wrong you will be completely covered. Just make sure you look out for the gold padlock/secure sign in the bottom of the screen so external hackers cannot gain access to your details.

No, you can’t use Paypal everywhere at this time. The company that you wish to use has to have an account set up with PayPal. If it does, PayPal will be a payment option upon checkout. I use PayPal wherever it is available, but it is pretty rare at this time. I think it’ll be a while before everyone uses it too :-S

Its true that you cant use Paypal everywhere, but i think soon you will be able to. It is growing so fast. If you are so against using cards on the internet have you tried the "anonymous debit" cards. They give you total anonymity as they dont have your address or any of these types of details.
