I'm going to work and travel in Australia and am looking for an account with a debit card: NAB keeps coming up in conversations / forums. Is NAB a good company for 'foreigners' banking? Does anyone know more about them? |

NAB is the National Australia Bank Ltd. The National Australia Group even includes the Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank which operate in the UK: you may be able to simplify your Australian banking if you already have an account with one of them. NAB offer an everyday banking account that comes with an NAB debit card, authorised by Visa. This means you can pay wherever they accept Visa, which helps if you're travelling! |

What is a good company for foreigners? Unless you are going to be making regular transfers to your English account from Australia then I don’t see how that would matter. |
