Hey, am a UK resident applying for an SBI credit card. The application form online is asking me for the PAN number – this is only available to Indians! What do I do?

You'll need to contact the State Bank of India and ask them for their policy on international customers. It may be that they offer a different banking system to UK customers which requires you to enter different information. On the other hand SBI may only offer their products and cards to Indian customers. SBI is run by GE Capital Services though, and they operate worldwide. You may be able to get similar deals from their affiliates in the UK.
