Can or should you lease credit card machinery?

If you're not sure whether getting the machine is worthwhile long-term, and want to have one for a few months to 'test the waters' and see how many customers really use it, leasing is a better option than purchasing. If you are certain that a credit card machine is a necessary part of your future, leasing may indeed be a waste of money. The evening café you run seems pretty 'small' and community-orientated, so I would imagine a lot of your customers would understand if there were certain payment forms that aren't accepted!
