I know that banks issue prepaid credit cards for customers, but can you also get a Mastercard prepaid card? Or do they only support 'real' credit cards?! And how do these cards work??

You can get prepaid credit cards from banks and building societies now, but most of them will be in association with a credit card provider like Visa or Mastercard. Otherwise they're not credit cards But of course, they don't WORK the same way as 'real' credit cards! You load them with cash and can then spend up to your balance. You can't get into debt with a prepaid card, right?
