Are MasterCard prepaid cards safer than bank cards?

At least the examples you see on web sites feature these symbols... A prepaid credit card is meant to be suitable for anyone and everyone, because there's a lot less risk of overspending. Unless you put all your money on the card and get carried away! What do your teenagers need to use them for?
