On my last Ryan air flight I was offered a Ryan air credit card. I couldn't really believe at first that that was possible – it seems now everyone can give you a credit card: supermarkets, airlines, soon there'll be an Eastenders credit card! Does anyone have a Ryan air card? Are there advantages? Or is it just a way for them to make money?

There's no doubt that any company offering a credit card is doing so because it will make them money, and not simply out the kindness of their hearts Ryanair offer a MasterCard credit card, promoted as the only UK card that can earn you flights. You can transfer your balance for 0% and there's no annual fee. If you are interested in spending a lot on the card, you can also earn five free flights within your first year, although it does mention in the small print that these flights are subject to availability... so you won't be able to pick any old flight as your free one. Of course, you could open the account for your first free flight and then close it! Do you need a credit card?
