What are the main benefits of leasing a car?

I have been looking in to buying a new car and a neighbor advised me to look into leasing. What are the main benefits of leasing a car? Has anyone had any bad experiences with leasing in comparison to buying? Thanks |

One of the main benefits that I have found is that the monthly payments are on average a lot lower than the financing deals for buying a car. When you lease you only pay for a portion of the car depending on how long you lease it for and other factors. This means you pay for what you use. For the same reason, you don’t need a huge deposit to lease a car and in some cases you do not need to put any money upfront. Lastly I find it saves money overall as I change cars often so that they are always covered under warranty, meaning that if anything goes wrong it is always up to the manufacturer to cover the repairs. However do be careful with the length of the lease contract and also how many miles you do as both of these can result in you paying hefty fees. |
