What are the main things to look out for when I get an online car lease quote? I want to lease a car but have heard that there is a lot of small print and I want to make sure I don’t get scammed…

From personal experience, I would say always check the wear and tear clause of the contract. Even though this may not be included when you ask for a quote you need to pay attention to it at the later stage. When my mom’s leased car contract ended she took back the car only to be informed that in her contract it stated that the car had to be returned in the exact same condition as it was given, meaning she had to pay loads for little scratches to the paintwork and interior to be replaced etc, whereas other companies accept minor scuffs and marks as obviously you have used it for a year or whatever the contract term was.
Also very interesting:

It’s the same when buying anything you have to read everything in the small print, don’t just try and spot certain things, go over it in detail, there are always hidden details!

Unless you are definitely sure on the contract life, always check the termination penalty as this is where people find trouble.

An accurate overview of your mileage per year is definitely something to double check as the online quotes only give you a certain amount of miles per year, you’ll end up paying loads if you go over.

Thanks for the help, when you say about the allotted mileage per year, is there any way to get a lease with flexible mileage allowance?
