My car was stolen yesterday and unfortunately it had my briefcase in the boot along with all my insurance papers, so now I have no idea where to get my Swift cover insurance number from. Is there a system online that I might be able to use in order to find out my number? What can I do? I need to call them but I have no idea what to tell them seeing as all my insurance documents are gone… I know I know stupid schoolboy error but I keep everything in that briefcase so you cannot understand how bad things are.

Ok I will try not to be judgmental as we all do silly things, but come on man, who puts ALL of their important documents all together and in the boot of a car that can easily be broken in to or stolen??? We live and we learn I suppose. And again, why is everyone so quick to jump to a system or a computer when things go wrong, you know that there will be a person on the other end of the telephone if you call them to report your car as stolen then I am sure with some quick data check and id questions they can find your number for you. People must lose their numbers all the time, it shouldn’t be a big deal. Good luck, and sorry mate! Ps the number incase you don’t have it 0871 271 1113 icon_wink.gif
