I was reading about InsureTech and about how their company CheaperCover.com can help people get lower quotes by making insurance companies bid for the client’s custom. Is this safe? Do any big names use this way of attracting custom or will it only be small companies on such a site?

Well if you have a look on the cheapercover.com site you will find a list of all the different companies that bid and there are quite a few “big names”. But this doesn’t really mean that it is the greatest idea to use them. I mean you need to make sure that the quote they offer you covers you for what you need, I mean I am not sure how it works but imagine if you are stuck with one quote and obliged to take it even if the cover isn’t what you expected. But again, I haven’t actually seen the T&C’s for the site so perhaps it’s not like this. But I would find out for sure if I were you.
