Olli Olli Topic creator Posts: 4	I hope that I wont sound to stupid if I ask where I can get a reliable professional indemnity online quote? I know that if I have my own business I should in theory know this kind of stuff, but this is my first business and as I am fresh in the industry I am not sure who to ask. Can someone help me please? I want to set up my own architecture consultancy firm. It will be just me for the moment maybe an assistant too if I can afford it. Will people in a similar trade be able to tell me approximately how much they pay per year?

Quintana Quintana Posts: 4	It really depends on how much cover you want for professional indemnity and how much you want to be covered for public or product liability. For example I also run a small architect design company, my policy is a small business insurance policy and includes both PL and PI insurance. I have £2,000,000 in public liability and £1,000,000 professional indemnity. Also I think it depends on how long you have been in business but I pay about £600 a year.
Also very interesting: How does combined business insurance, USAA and Hartfords, work? Does Aviva (Norwich Union) business insurance only go through brokers? What are the typical insurances for businesses? Do I need Employers liability act 1969 insurance? Looking for a reliable professional indemnity online quote? What is the coinsurance clause in my business insurance policy?
