I wanted to get Hartford business insurance for my new start-up and have heard that I can apply through a combined business insurance. USAA and Hartfords are apparently partnered now…. Not sure since when. But I was just wondering what are the advantages of this? If I get the policy via USAA will it be cheaper than going directly to Hartfords? I don’t get how this works? What is the point in this partnership, both for us and them?

Well according to the San Antonio Business Journal “the exclusive agreement with The Hartford will meet their member's growing need for competitively priced business insurance.” http://sanantonio.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/stories/2000/11/27/daily5.html so perhaps that does mean that it will be cheaper. Has anyone got this insurance? It says its been out for a while, any good/bad experiences?
