Medical Services Available

GPs and paediatricians create a medical record for each patient, guarantee ongoing health care and give patients details of an alternative practitioner when they are not available.


In addition, GPs and paediatricians offer the following services:

  • medical consultations in their surgeries and at your home

  • referral for specialist examinations

  • prescriptions for medicines

  • referral for admission to hospital

  • referral for skilled nursing

  • specific therapies

  • medical certificates

All these services are provided free of charge, except for certain medical certificates which will incur a fee.
