Housing Benefit Extended Payment

If you are entitled to claim Income Support or income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, and you are also entitled to Housing Benefit, you may be entitled to Housing Benefit Extended Payment when you begin work or increase your working hours. When you begin work or increase your working hours and thus stop receiving Income Support or Jobseeker’s Allowance, you should be entitled to Housing Benefit for a further four weeks.
