State Pension Age
The State Pension age is the age at which you can begin drawing your State Pension if you are entitled to claim one. Currently the State Pension age is set at sixty years of age for women and sixty-five years of age for men. Between 2010 and 2046, State Pension age will increase and equalise to sixty-eight years of age for both men and women. The exact age at which you are entitled to your State Pension will depend on the year you were born. If you are unsure of the age at which you will be entitled to claim your State Pension, you can contact the Department for Work and Pensions on 0845 60 60 265 for advice.
