Administrative & Trading Fees
Many stock-market linked accounts and investments incur administrative charges for maintaining the account and/or trading shares. Some account providers will charge recurring fees, payable every six months for example, which are based on the value of the account for the previous six months. Others will simply charge one flat fee per deal. It is important to ensure that your account provider will not charge you excessive commission charges for managing your account, nor charge you more if you earn great investment returns.
