Postal Banking

There are many forms of current account banking on offer, such as telephone banking and online banking, which enable instant access to your account and have reduced the demand for traditional postal banking. However, many services continue to be offered via post. Bank account statements detailing the transactions on your account since your last statement are often delivered monthly by post; you may also receive letters detailing special offers from your bank or building society, and many utility companies will send bills which you can opt to pay by sending a cheque in the post. It is important to keep track of your finances and you may find it useful to have a printed copy of certain details, such as your monthly statement, to enable you to keep track of your income and outgoings and give you a printed reference for your records.
