Pass Plus Scheme
The Pass Plus scheme entitles drivers to a discount on their car insurance if they complete an advanced driver training course. The course, designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), develops your existing skills, knowledge and driving confidence and costs around one hundred pounds. It is split into six sections:
- driving in tow
- driving in all weathers
- driving on rural roads
- driving at night
- driving on dual carriageways
- driving on motorways
Only certain insurers take part in the Pass Plus scheme. Some will offer up to a thirty percent discount, but many will offer only ten percent.
